1、 2012-2013 英語必修 4 人教版新課標 Unit 5 金牌教案(第 1 課時) Unit 5 Theme Parks I 教學內(nèi)容分析 本單元的中心話題是“主題公園”——以某種特定的主題為中心的公園。從文體上來講,本單元屬 于說明文, 按照由總到分的方式來安排順序。 這是一個學生比較陌生的話題,因為大部分學生都未親眼目睹過課本上所列舉的那些公園。因此,老師應(yīng)多收集相關(guān)材料,以激起學生的學習興趣。 Warming Up 部分通過提問的方式,幫助學生激活有關(guān)公園的背景知識,如修建公園的目的、公園的種類、公園提供的活動等。還配有插圖讓學生猜測主題公園與一般

2、公園的不同之處。 Pre-reading 部分提出了一個問題: 你認為主題公園是什么?給學生充分的時間去討論。 但因?qū)W生的經(jīng)歷所限,老師可以在學生簡短的討論后接著單獨提問,從而把問題討論得深刻一些,為正文的閱讀打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。 Reading 部分分四段介紹了主題公園 : 1. 什么是主題公園; 2. 迪斯尼樂園; 3. 多萊塢公園; 4. 卡默洛特公園。 Comprehending 部分通過釋讀題目 THEME PARKS、填充信息、判斷句子正誤以及就文章內(nèi)容進行討論等形式幫助學生理解課文主旨,掌握細節(jié),加深對本單元主題的理解。 Learning about Lan

3、guage 包括詞匯和語法兩部分。詞匯部分設(shè)計了釋義、造詞填空(單句層次和 短文層次) 等三個練習, 復(fù)習和運用課文中所學的詞匯。 語法部分主要讓學生掌握合成詞的構(gòu)詞法,擴大學生的詞匯量。 Using Language 部分介紹了深圳的錦繡中華民俗村和法國的“觀測未來”科技主題公園,讓學生在情景中運用語言,同時了解不同文化背景、不同類型的主題公園,拓寬視野。 Learning Tip 提醒學生重視有關(guān)構(gòu)詞法知識的學習,讓學生理解構(gòu)詞法知識對于英語詞匯學習的重要意義,而且此部分對構(gòu)詞法中的轉(zhuǎn)化法又做了補充說明。 II .教學重點和難點1. 教學重點 ( 1)本單元

4、教學目的和要求中的生詞和短語; ( 2)掌握英語構(gòu)詞法:合成法和派生法; ( 3)學會欣賞和介紹主題公園。 2.教學難點 ( 1)通過學習學生應(yīng)有較強的觀察能力; ( 2)學生應(yīng)具有好奇心和豐富的想象力; ( 3)學會寫作中應(yīng)用“總分式” ,使文章層次清晰,內(nèi)容充實。 III .教學計劃 本單元建議分六課時: 第一課時: Warming Up, Listening ( Workbook) &Talking (Workbook) 第二課時: Pre-reading, Reading & Comprehension 第三課時: Learn

5、ing about Language 第四課時: Using Language 第五、六課時: Listening task (Workbook), Speaking task (Workbook), Reading task (workbook) & Writing task (workbook) IV. 教學步驟: Period 1 Warming Up, Listening ( Workbook) & Talking (Workbook) Teaching Goals: 1. To arouse Ss ’ interests in tal

6、king about parks. 2. To develop Ss ’ ability in listening and speaking. Teaching Procedures: Step 1. Leading- in Purpose: Give Ss a few minutes to say something about parks by asking the following questions. 1. Can you name the theme parks? 2. And can you tell us more of the theme parks

7、? 3. Have you ever been to any of the famous theme parks? If so, where have you been? Can you describe some scenery to us? If not, will you go to one of them? 1. Ask Ss to discuss the following questions. (1) Why were parks originally developed? (2) What uses do parks have? (3

8、) Do you think that parks have something to do with people ’s living conditions? 2. Divide Ss into six groups to discuss the difference between the theme park and the traditional park. The traditional park Chinese parks Western parks four elements: water, open grassy areas; benches

9、rock, bridges and to sit on; shelters for pavilions picnics or playing music; water for sailing ?  The theme park activities for visitors do or to see; a specific idea to attract visitors; owned privately and built for profit; ?  to Question 1: Have you ever c

10、ompared the fare that the two kinds of parks ask? Which is more expensive? Question 2: There are many activities you can take part in the theme park. If you have a chance to go, what kind of activities will you take part in? Question 3: What is your idea about some very dangerous

11、activities, such as the following pictures show? Rock-climbing Rafting Bungee jumping Free-fall rides Conclusion: Many countries have theme parks to attract both tourists and local people, as the visitors also bring some money to nearby hote

12、ls and restaurants. Step 3. Listening (workbook) Purpose: to help Ss to guess the main idea about the listening by the given information. 1. Divide Ss into groups of six and discuss the pictures below with their partners. Dolphins  Rafting What are the animals in the pictu

13、res? Are they fish or mammals? Do you ever heard of the story of them? Have you ever seen the film “Free Willy ” ? Do you think the animal is clever or not? There are many water activities in the ocean parks, what kind of water sports will you like to take part in? Do you like rafting ?

14、Why or why not? Suggested answers: The animals are dolphins which are very clever and have a good ability to communicate effectively with each other. They are mammals. There are also water sports in the theme park, such as, water skiing, parasailing and deep-sea diving. 2. Get Ss to look

15、through Ex1 on P69 before listening to the tape. Then play the tape and check the answers. 3. Ask Ss to listen to the tape again and finish Ex2 on P69 and then let them check the answers in pairs. Step 4: Talking Purpose: To get Ss to discuss the questions on the theme park. 1. Ask Ss

16、 to think about the following questions and present the opinion to the class. (1) If you are planning for visiting parks, what kind of parks would you like to go? (2) Can you go there by yourself? (3) What would you like to do, just having a rest or taking risks? 2. Ask Ss to look thro

17、ugh the requests of Talking on P69. Encourage Ss to use what they have learned to express whatever they want to. 3. Ask Ss to make up the dialogue in pairs and then let some pairs present it. Step 5. Homework 1. Ask Ss to continue talking about parks. 2. Ask Ss to go over all the new words and prepare for the reading text.
