1、1、 A Christmas Gift 圣誕禮物
A guy bought his wife a beautiful diamond ring for Christmas.
圣誕節(jié)來(lái)了,一位先生給他太太送的圣誕禮物是一個(gè)非常漂亮的
鉆石戒子。
After hearing about this extravagant gift, a friend of his
said, "I thought she wanted one of those sporty four-wheel-drive vehicles."
他朋友聽(tīng)到他買(mǎi)這么奢侈的禮物后, 說(shuō)到: “她不是想要輛四驅(qū)車(chē) 嗎” 。

"She did," he replied. "But where was I going to find a fake Jeep?"
先生答: “是啊, ( 可以買(mǎi)到假鉆石 ) , 可去哪里能買(mǎi)一輛假吉普車(chē)
呢?”
2、 Entering Heaven 進(jìn)天堂
Three mendied on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.
三名男子都死于平安夜,而后分別在天堂之門(mén)被圣彼得召見(jiàn)。
"In honor of this holy season," Saint Peter said, "Yo
3、u must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."
圣彼得說(shuō): “因?yàn)檫@個(gè)神圣的節(jié)日, 你們每個(gè)人都必須有象征圣誕
節(jié)的物品才能進(jìn)入天堂” 。
The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he said.
"You may pass through the pearly gates," Saint Peter

第一名男子從他得口袋里掏出了個(gè)打火機(jī), 他打燃打火機(jī)說(shuō): “它
代表蠟燭” 。于是圣彼得就讓他進(jìn)入了天堂。
The second manreached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "Theyre bells." Saint Peter said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."
第二個(gè)男子從口袋里掏出一串鑰匙,他把鑰匙在手里搖了搖說(shuō):
“它們是鈴鐺”圣誕老人也讓他上了天堂。

5、rted searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of womens glasses.
第三個(gè)男子絕望的在口袋里掏了半天,最后掏出了一副女人的眼
鏡。
St. Peter looked at the manwith a raised eyebrow and asked,
"And just what do those symbolize?"
圣彼得挑了挑眉, 看向這個(gè)男的, 說(shuō): “你倒是說(shuō)說(shuō)這玩意兒代表
什么 ? ”
The man replied, "Theyre Caro

男士答到: “她們是卡羅爾的” (最后的 carols ,我看了好久才
發(fā)現(xiàn) s 前有個(gè) ,我還說(shuō)眼鏡跟圣誕頌歌有半毛錢(qián)關(guān)系 ?)
注意哦: 看懂了沒(méi) ?carols 和 carols 同音, carol 在這里是一個(gè)
女士的名字, carols 是圣誕頌歌, 所以第三個(gè)男的借用同音字說(shuō)了個(gè) 圣誕的象征。
3、 At Grandmas 在奶奶家過(guò)圣誕節(jié)

"I pray for a new bicycle...
我希望收到一輛自行車(chē) ...
I pray for a new nintendo...
還有一部任天堂游戲機(jī)
I pray for a new VCR..."
還有新的錄像機(jī)
His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, "Why are you shouting your prayers? God isnt deaf." To which the little brother replied, "No, but Gramma is!"
小男孩的哥哥搓了搓他說(shuō)道: “你干嘛禱告得這么大聲, 上帝又不
是聾子” 。弟弟回答到: “我知道上帝不是聾子,可是奶奶是啊” 。
