Unit 2 Vienna and its musicians
教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)思路: 本模塊以Western music 為話題,主旨讓學(xué)生了
2、解西方音樂(lè)的有關(guān)知識(shí)。Unit 2 是學(xué)習(xí)關(guān)于維也納及著名音樂(lè)家約翰. 施特勞斯和莫扎特的文章,并要學(xué)會(huì)從文章中抓住關(guān)鍵信息,從而進(jìn)一步學(xué)會(huì)利用所給的信息介紹音樂(lè)家, 談?wù)撘魳?lè)家。由于這篇說(shuō)明介紹性的文字離學(xué)生生活比較遙遠(yuǎn),不容易引起學(xué)生共鳴,所以我把整個(gè)教學(xué)過(guò)程設(shè)計(jì)為一次特殊的旅行
---音樂(lè)之旅。行程為三個(gè)部分:1、維也納觀光; 2、拜訪歐洲音樂(lè)家; 3、觀看中國(guó)音樂(lè)家的演出。在教學(xué)過(guò)程中,我充分利用計(jì)算機(jī)、圖片、卡片等多種教具輔助課堂教學(xué),創(chuàng)設(shè)教學(xué)情景,營(yíng)造一個(gè)音樂(lè)的世界,集畫面、聲音、圖片于一體,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使學(xué)生會(huì)學(xué)、愿學(xué)和樂(lè)學(xué);而且還充分發(fā)揮教師的主導(dǎo)作用,激發(fā)學(xué)生主
3、動(dòng)參與的欲望,創(chuàng)設(shè)真實(shí)場(chǎng)景,安排小組活動(dòng),使學(xué)生在輕松愉快的環(huán)境中實(shí)現(xiàn)更多的信息交流,提高課堂教學(xué)效率。
Teaching aims:
1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo):掌握文中出現(xiàn)的生詞和短語(yǔ):Vienna, Austria, the Blue Danube, composer, musician, waltz, Mozart, Strauss
2. 能力目標(biāo):
(1) 結(jié)合音樂(lè)、圖片、文字及視頻短片了解音樂(lè)和劇中人物;
(2) 能夠讀懂有關(guān)音樂(lè)以及人物介紹的文章,抓住其關(guān)鍵信息;
(3) 能夠在虛擬情景中針對(duì)維也納及音樂(lè)家情況進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單提問(wèn)及回答。
3. 情感目標(biāo):學(xué)會(huì)欣賞音樂(lè)
4、、享受音樂(lè)并感謝音樂(lè)家。
Teaching key points:
Know some basic knowledge about the great musicians and understand the general idea of the passage as a whole.

Step 1.Warm-up
Greetings and let the Ss guess what I like doing in my spare time.
(Objective: Catch Ss attention; make the Ss familiar with the top

Step 2. Lead in
Enjoy a song in the movie “the Sound of Music”.
Bring the students to the beautiful country in the movie, and tell them all the people there love music. (引出Austria and Vienna)
Language learning activity (Focus on the music travel).
Step 3. Activity 1
T introd
7、uces the city of Vienna with the help of pictures and music.
Ss try to catch the key information about Vienna.
(Objective: Motivate Ss interest; T gets feedback from Ss.)
Step 4. Activity 2
Go into the museum to visit some European composers.
1). Pre-listening
Ask the student
8、s how many musicians we are going to visit and who they are.
2). While-listening
(放映配有圖片、文字、背景音樂(lè)的課文錄音,使學(xué)生更有效地抓住三位音樂(lè)家的關(guān)鍵信息,并帶來(lái)音、圖、文并茂的感官享受。)
3). Post-listening
(教師用自己的語(yǔ)言,通過(guò)與學(xué)生相互交流的方式,幫助學(xué)生說(shuō)出并記憶有關(guān)音樂(lè)家成就的關(guān)鍵信息,并把key words板書在黑板上,使學(xué)生理清頭緒,為下面交流輸出信息作好準(zhǔn)備。)

Step 5. Activity 3
All the musicians dream to give concerts in Vienna. So do our Chinese musicians.
Introduce some Chinese musicians in Vienna.
Go into
10、 the Golden Hall to enjoy a performance of a Chinese musician.
Step 6. Activity 4
Share feelings about this travel with the Ss, using only one word.
T summarizes the feelings. It’s really a music travel.
Step 7. Activity 5
Two topics for the Ss to choose after coming back from Vienna.
11、(Group work)
1). Make an interview. Suppose a reporter from Puyang TV wants to ask about our music travel.
2). Talk about this music travel with your friends.
(Objective: Personalize what they have learnt today; share opinions among Ss; try to make them more talkative and sociable.)

Lead Ss to recall what they have learnt in this lesson.
Step 9. Homework
Write a composition about one musician or composer you like.
(Objective: Make the lesson more systematic; consolidate their memory; T can get feedback about what they have learnt today.)
