7、eautiful她是那么美麗 lm so glad to see you見到您非常高興。 It is so small that you cant see it它很小,以至于你看不見。 so后面還可接形容詞+冠詞+名詞,如: He is so lovely a boy! 他是如此可愛的一個男孩! 2You learn about different countries of the world你可以了解到世界各國的情況 learn ahout意為“了解,得知”。句中of the world是介詞短語作定語,修飾countries。如:We have learned about the scho
8、ol in the town我們已經了解了鎮(zhèn)上的這個學校的情況。(in the town作the school的定語) 3I think we need one! 我想(認為)我們需要一個(兒童的節(jié)日)! we need one是賓語從句?!皌hink+(that)從句”意為“想,認為”。在I think (believe,suppose)后面的從句里,如果有否定意義,需把否定詞由從句轉移到主句,這叫作否定的轉移。如: I dont think you are right to do so我認為你這樣做是不對的。 I dont believe he will come我相信他不會來。 4Tha
9、ts a funny name。isnt it? 這是個很有趣的名字,不是嗎? 這是一個反意疑問句。它是由“陳述句+與之相反的簡略問句(反意疑問部分)構成。陳述句和反意疑問部分遵循“前否定,后肯定;前肯定,后否定”。反意疑問部分的否定句必須用縮略形式,同時它的主語必須用人稱代詞,不能用名詞。反意疑問部分通常譯為“是不是”,“不是嗎”,“是嗎”等。如: Its sunny today,isnt it? 今天天氣晴朗,是不是? He went to Beijing yesterday,didnt he? 他昨人去了北京,不是嗎? You cant sing this song,can you? 你

13、部分應用否定形式;反之,反意疑問部分用肯定形式。同時還應注意前后人稱要保持一致。如: You are from Australia,arent you?你們從澳大利亞來,是嗎? He doesnt live in Beijing,does he?他不住在北京,是嗎? 2熟悉反意疑問句的回答方法 反意疑問句都要用yes或no來回答,只要事實是肯定的,就用yes,反之則用no。 如: He isnt a student,is he? 如果這個“he”的確不是學生,按照英語表達習慣,就叫答:“No, he isnt”,而不 能說“Yes,he isnt”。 就其語調而言,如表示疑問、懷疑或沒把握,常
14、川升調;如表示事實,有把握和加強語氣則用降調。 3了解反意疑問句特殊表現形式 (1)陳述句主語為everything,something,anything,nothing這不定代詞時,反意疑問部分主語應用it。如: Nothing is wrong with the machine,is it? 這臺機器沒出毛病,是嗎? (2)陳述句主語為everyone,everybody,anyone,anybody,someone,somebody,no one,nobody等表人的不定代詞時,反意疑問部分主語常用they。如: Everybody knows it,dont they?每一個人都知道這
15、一點,不是嗎? Nobody is late, are they? 沒有人遲到,是嗎? (3)陳述句為there be句型時,反意疑問部分應用be(not)there?。如: There are many girls in your class,arent there?你們班有許多女孩,是不是? There is not much milk in the bottle,is there?瓶子里沒有很多牛奶,是嗎? (4)陳述句部分出現never,few,little,hardly(幾乎不),none,neither等表示否定意義的詞時,反意疑問部分應用肯定形式。如: There is litt
16、le rice in the bowl,is there?碗里幾乎沒有米飯,是嗎? You can hardly understand it,can you?你幾乎不能理解這一點,是嗎? (5)陳述句為“Im句型時,反意疑問部分應用arent I?如: I am in Class One,arent I?我在一班,不是嗎? (6)肯定祈使句的反意疑問部分可用will you?wont you?can you?would you?could you?cant you?其中最常用的是will you?或wont you?但否定祈使句的反意疑問部分只能用will you?。如: Open the w
17、indow,will youwont you?打開窗子,好嗎? Dont go out,will you?別出去,好嗎? (7)以Lets開頭的祈使句,其反意疑問部分應用shall we?;以Let usme開頭的祈使句,其反意疑問部分應用will you?wont you?;以Let sb。開頭的祈使句的反意疑問部分也要用will youwont you?。如: Lets go,shall we?我們走,好嗎? Let us have a rest,will youwont you?讓我們休息一會兒,好嗎? Let him go home,will youwont you?讓他回家,好嗎? (8)感嘆句的反意疑問部分,其簡略句的謂語多用be的現在時的否定形式。如: What a fine day(it is),isnt it?今天天氣很好,是不是?
