12、y used sharp tools to dig the outline of Riveras quickly-made drawing into theplaster. Then, they made a mixture of lime (石灰) and sand and spread this over theoutline in a thin layer. As soon as this layer was firm but not dry Rivera beganto paint. Every morning, his paints had to be freshly mixed.
