31、道好極了。不過在倒第二杯是,助手一不小心加入了碳酸水(二氧化碳+水),這回味道更好了,合伙人羅賓遜從糖漿的兩種成分古柯(Coca)的葉子和可樂(Kola)的果實中,激發(fā)出命名的靈感,羅賓遜為了整齊劃一,將Kola的K改C,然后在兩個詞中間加一橫,于是Coca-Cola便誕生了。 第一份可口可樂售價是五分美元,可口可樂原來是作為藥物出售的,因為當時不少美國民眾相信碳酸飲料是又助健康的。于是顧客贊不絕口,爭著要喝這種“新配方”的可口可樂,從此,Coke這種可口可樂糖漿與碳酸水混合的飲料風行世界,并且從1894年起以瓶裝出售。1903年,由于政府禁止使用可卡因作為飲料添加劑,所以可口可樂的成分中不再含有可卡因。時至今日,Coke依然是世界上嘴暢銷的碳酸飲料。
