Peter和Yang Ming 正在談論有關Yang Ming的Grandpa有什么興趣和愛好。
重點聚焦:
He enjoys farming.

My grandpa also enjoys fishing.

讀圖向導:
右上圖中左側是Yang Ming,右側是Peter;Yang Ming正在向Peter介紹Grandpa的愛好。注意下圖Grandpa釣魚時釣上來的是什么。哈哈,是草!
課前準備
1.準備本課的教學掛圖、錄音磁帶和投影片。
2.布置學生準備家人的相片。
教學步驟與建議
1.熱身 / 復習(Warming-up / Revision)
檢查上節(jié)課布置的chant, 鼓勵學生到前面來展示,教師和學生共同給以評價。
2.新課導入(Presentation)
1)展示教學掛圖,讓學生觀察,教師一邊指圖一邊提出以下問題:
Who's the b

What's the old man doing?
What are the boys talking about?
2)鼓勵學生觀察掛圖,猜測問題的答案。
3)播放錄音,讓學生聽后回答問題:
Who's the old man on the farm?
Who's the old man near the river?
What is Yang Ming's grandpa's hobby?
4)多次播放錄音,直到多數學生能聽出以上問題的答案。教師提問幾位學生并核實正確答案。
He's Yang Ming's grandpa.
He likes fishing./

He enjoys planting flowers, growing vegetables and keeping the animals.
5)再次播放錄音,使用暫停鍵,并指導學生逐句跟讀。要求學生一邊讀一邊用手指著圖中相應的人和物。
6)讓學生兩個人一組以pair work 的形式練習本課對話。
3.趣味操練(Practice)
1)讓學生分角色扮演對話中的人物,鼓勵他們自愿到講臺上把對話表演給大家看。師生共同給以評價。
2)“小小擂臺賽”:將全班分成男生、女生兩大組,每組每次出一人提出問題挑戰(zhàn)對方。所提問題以本課對話為中心。
3)利用自己所帶的相片介紹自己家人的興趣和愛好。教師引導學生對部分家長的興趣愛好進行評價,引導學生培養(yǎng)健康向上的愛好。
4)排列順序:把本課會話內容分別寫在不同的紙片上,打亂順序掛在黑板上,讓學生將打亂順序的對話重新排列。看哪一組最先完成任務,發(fā)給貼紙獎勵。
4.拓展活動(Additional activities)
1)將了解到的班中同學家人的興趣和愛好講給自己的家人聽。
2)繼續(xù)讓學生分組編寫chant或者小對話。
