He delivered himself to the police. 他向警方自首了。 He delivered a long speech. 他發(fā)表了一場很長的演講。 鏈接提示 delivery n. 遞送;傳送;遞送品 練:We can________ goods to your door. A.leave out Be out C.begin with De up 提示:此處的意思為“漏掉”。 答案:A 句型 v.-ing形式作時間狀語 講:請觀察下面教材原句: Passing through the desert,we came out into the Salt Lake Valley,which looked beautiful to us. 穿過沙漠之后,我們來到鹽湖谷,這個地方看起來很美麗。 It is only the first step that is difficult.凡事開頭難。 Passing through the desert在這里為v.-ing形式作時間狀語,相當于時間狀語從句After we passed through the desert,...。 例:Hearing the news,they all jumped with joy. 聽到這個消息,他們都欣喜若狂。 Having finished the work,they had a short rest. 完成那項工作后,他們休息了一會。 Having been told many times,he still couldn’t understand it. 被告知了多次之后,他還是不明白。 鏈接提示 使用該結(jié)構(gòu)時,注意其邏輯主語應(yīng)該是和句子的主語一致,否則就要用狀語從句形式。v.-ing形式作狀語一般表示主動,而被動式使用過去分詞,這時使用狀語從句時就應(yīng)該使用被動語態(tài)。 練:(xx北京海淀適應(yīng)性練習) —Why didn’t you go to see the play? —_________the whole story,I decided not to see it.
