2、ny sentences with the verb “be” Let them recall together. Eg: He is 13 years old. He is in the school basketball team. I am in the Reading Club. We are classmates. We are happy. You are my master. Step II 1. Let the students know the correct forms of the verb “to be” followed by a pronoun. P

3、oint out the short form. U am = I’m You / We / They are --- ( You’re --- , We’re ---, They’re --- ) He/ She / It is --- ( He’s ---, She’s ---, It’s --- ) 2. Go through the tables on page 10 with the students. Notice some contractions. I am not = I’m not You / We / They are not = You / We
