Module 5 Lao She Teahouse Unit 1 I wanted to see the Beijing Opera. 教學目標 【知識目標】 1. 能正確運用本單元的詞匯及短語:actress, teahouse, offer, end, in the end, no idea等。 2. 學習動詞不定式作賓語的表達。 【能力目標】 1. 能聽懂有關京劇的對話,了解老舍茶館。 2. 能用動詞不定式表達自己的意圖和計劃。 【情感態(tài)度目標】 培養(yǎng)學生對京劇中國傳統(tǒng)文化的興趣和愛好,增強其民族自豪感。 教學重難點 【教學重點】 本單元要求掌握的單詞和詞組。 【教學難點】 掌握動詞不定式作賓語的用法,并能用動詞不定式表達自己的意圖和計劃等。 教學過程 Step 1 Warming-up 1. Enjoy a play: Lao She Teahouse 2. Show some pictures. 3. Look at the pictures, and talk something about the pictures. 4. Introduce the new words. 5. Learn the new words. 6. Read the new words. Step 2 Work in pairs. 1. Ask the students to read the words in the box in Activity 1. actress dance music play sing teahouse theatre traditional 2. Look at the pictures in Activity 1, and talk about them. 3. Work in pairs. Use the words from the box to help you. Step 3 Listening practice. 1. Ask the students to read through the sentences in Activity 2. 1) Betty often sees / wants to see some traditional Beijing opera. 2) Betty knows / doesn’t know Lao She Teahouse. 3) Lingling says that the opera is easy / difficult to understand. 2. Play the recording once without stopping. 3. Listen and underline the correct words. 4. Play the recording again and ask the whole class to check with a partner. 5. I’d like to go with you. 3. Ask the students to listen and mark the intonation. 4. Now listen again and repeat. Step 8 Work in pairs. 1. Ask the students to read the conversations in Activity 5 aloud. 2. Talk about something you’d like to do or see. — I want to go to Xinjiang and ride horses. — … Step 9 Important and difficult points 1. — Who is Lao She? 老舍是誰? — No idea. 不知道。 這里的No idea 相當于I don’t know。 例如: She has no idea where to go. 她不知道要去哪里。 — Do you know how old our teacher is? — I have no idea. She looks pretty young. 2. We only planned to watch for an hour, but in the end, we stayed for three hours. 我們計劃僅呆一個小時,但是最后,我們呆了三個小時。 in?the?end?/?at?last?/?finally的區(qū)別: 這是一組同義詞,都有“最后”的意思,但用法有所不同。? finally?一般指一系列事物或論點的順序,沒有感情色彩。例如:? At?last?the?work?was?done?and?he?could?rest. 最后,工作完成了,他可以休息了。? She?has?come?at?last! 她總算來了!? in?the?end?表示經(jīng)過許多變化、困難和捉摸不定的情況后某事才發(fā)生。例如:? They?won?in?the?end. 最后他們贏了。? He tried many times to pass the examination, and in the end he succeeded. 他多次努力想通過考試,最后成功了。 in?the?end可與finally和at?last通用,但注意:in?the?end和finally不能用作感嘆語。 Step 10 Do exercises: A. 單詞拼寫 1.
