、s have learned the 30.________ of families. 故選A。

cut back on“削減,縮減”,是固定短語。 7.A 根據(jù)短語“be absor

the number of… 10.C cut down 砍倒/減縮(費用); cut off 切掉,割。 11.A grow to 增加到(同become);grow up 長大;grow into 變成。

、 12.B be responsible for doing sth.=take responsibility to do sth. 在英語中兩個句子主語不一致時,需要用獨立結(jié)構(gòu)來表達,即tears flowing down his cheeks quietly。 The boy was having an operation on the stomach and tears were flowing down his cheeks quietly. 14.C

、考查句型“appreciate it+if從句”,其中it作形式賓語。 手機是再也沒有被找到,故用被動語態(tài),所以用never to be found作結(jié)果狀語。 Ⅱ. 第一段陳述雨林覆蓋率正在嚴重下降之后,立即引入“Natural and human threats are responsible for this loss of rainforests.”,由此可判斷選C。 根據(jù)“Long dry often weakens t

由第二、三段可知,文章提到的natural threats有:wildfire, long dry和typhoons and storms,故選B。 根據(jù)第四段“In case of natural events, some parts of the forest ecosystem continue to work, which leads to slow recovery of lost habitats.”

、段“Air pollution and water pollution are causing damage to every habitat, including the rainforest. You might have heard of acid rain, which when falls on leaves and plant parts, causes burning signs.”

In the past, American families tended to be quite large相對應(yīng)的就是現(xiàn)在美國家庭小了很多。 23. One reason for this is an increase in the cost of living. The parents usually take the responsibility for all the expenses. 27. divorce/separation 28. settled/safe 29. busy 30. importance/value
