I’m still trying to adapt to these conditions but, one thing is for sure, I’ve become a lot more imaginative in my teaching. 4. Sometimes I wonder how relevant chemistry is to the kids, most of whom will be going back to their

9、s Step I Warming Up Discuss Warming Up Questions on Page28. Talk about helping others and voluntary work Step II Pre-reading Show the students some pictures of the bush school. Get the students to guess the answers. Step III Reading Scanning Get the Ss to read the passage quickly and acc

10、urately and meanwhile help the Ss to form a good habit of reading. Teacher gives the Ss a couple of minutes to look through the whole passage. Tell the Ss to read the text silently and then ask some detailed questions about the text on the slide show with their partners. Teacher should encourage the
