1、 A Teaching Plan Unit9 When was it invented? ( Reading: Do you know the basketball was invented? ) I. 教材分析 課文緊扣住本單元的話題invention,課文內容主要圍繞風靡全球的籃球運動這一主題。本單元的語法是被動語態(tài),因此文中出現了大量的被動語態(tài)的句子,通過閱讀文章,學生能有效地感悟被動語態(tài)的用法。本節(jié)課滲透的是學習策略---大腦構圖法(mind-mapping), 通過本節(jié)課的學習,學生能對這一學習策略形成感性認識,并在今后的學習中能有意識地使用該學習策略。 II學生
2、分析 由于學生已經基本掌握了被動語態(tài),因此本篇閱讀中出現的處被動語態(tài)的句子對學生來說已不是障礙。關鍵是文章出現的一些生詞,需要學生認讀,否則在回答問題時就是障礙。運用Mind-mapping復述課文的信息對學生來說是一大難點。 III教學目標 1. 知識目標 通過閱讀,絕大多數學生能認讀并掌握文中的重點詞匯active, indoors, create, wooden, knock, divide, basket, metal, towards, develop, rise, 并找出文章中出現的被動語態(tài)的句子。 2.能力目標 通過本節(jié)閱讀課的學習,大部分學生能較為熟練地朗讀
3、課文。在理解文章內容和反復朗讀的前提下,中等及以上水平學生還能用Mind-mapping復述籃球的歷史----籃球的發(fā)明、發(fā)展及流行趨勢等。學生能初步掌握mind-mapping學習策略,并在今后的學習過程中,運用mind-mapping學會文字信息與圖像的轉換。 3.情感態(tài)度目標 通過本節(jié)課的學習,激發(fā)學生對運動的熱愛,并讓學生樹立teamwork的意識。 IV教學重難點 1、 教學重點 (1)能認讀并理解詞匯:active, indoors, create, wooden, knock, divide, aim, basket, metal, hoop, sh

Learn knock into. 首先通過一小段視頻CCTV-5 籃球公園號碼傳奇—24號, 讓學生感知本節(jié)課將會想學習與籃球有關的內容。再Greeting,拉近與學生間的距離,并引出本課的重點單詞active, 然后通過Free talk這一環(huán)節(jié),從視頻中的Kobe談到大家都知曉的姚明,追問姚明近況,為何退役,為何會受傷,到打籃球的危險性,球員之間相互撞擊摔倒,引出重點詞匯knock into。 Step 2 Presentation T: Although Yao Ming has retired from NBA since last year, he stil

22、, 再分解mind-map 讓學生retell,再次運mind-mapping這一本單元主要的學習策略—將圖片轉化成文字,使學生對文章內容再作一次深刻的回憶,更好地感受文本。同時通過挖掘文本的情感教育內涵,激發(fā)學生對運動的熱愛,并讓學生樹立teamwork的意識。最后一段對話between a host from Basketball Park in CCTV-5 and James Naismith, 對本節(jié)課的詞匯作一檢測。 Step 4 Summary. 26、ver a hundred years old. It is played by more than 100 million people in over 200 countries including China, where basketball has been played in parks, schools, and even in factories. Basketball was invented by a Canadian doctor named James Naismith, who was born in 1861. When he was at college, hi
27、s class was once asked to invent a new game that could be played indoors during the long winters. Dr Naismith created a game that could be played on a harden wooden floor, so the safety of players was very important. Knocking into players and falling down would be dangerous. Dr Naismith divided the
28、 men in his class into two teams, and taught them how to play his new game. The aim of basketball is for players to try to get a ball into the “basket”: a net hanging from a metal hoop. Players shoot from below the basket, and sometimes the “backboard” is used for guiding the ball into the basket. P
29、layers move towards one end of the court while throwing the ball to each other. It is believed that on December 21st, 1891, the first basketball game in history was played. Then in 1936 in Berlin, it became an Olympic event. Since then, the popularity of basketball has risen worldwide, and the

31、 教學反思 首屆初中英語青年教師研修班第二次活動在沿江中學展開。我很榮幸能和另外兩位老師在這次活動中向研修班指導老師和成員展示自己的課堂教學。在這短短一天中,我學到了很多,也深刻意識到自己在課堂教學過程中存在諸多缺點。現作反思如下: 一、成功之處: 1.備課之前,花大量時間、挖掘文本,定位教學目標。 2.備課中,緊緊圍繞教學目標層層展開教學步驟;各個環(huán)節(jié)任務設計形式多樣。 3.教學過程中詞匯教學滲透教學各個環(huán)節(jié),呈現方式多樣。閱讀策略指導比較到位。課堂評價時時跟進。 二、不足之處: 1.在careful reading時,Part1 我分解課后的mind-map進行閱讀策略指導,可是后面的2個部分就沒有貫徹此策略,閱讀策略側重點沒體現出來。 2.本節(jié)課詞匯量很大,近達25個,而黑體就有11個,可是我黑體的重點詞匯呈現出來后板書沒有用符號側重指出。 3.我上課語速過快,指令時而不時重復。 4. 我沒有把握好時間,導致最后兩個環(huán)節(jié)沒時間開展,只能當做課后作業(yè)。 三、結束語 對于教師來說,一次研討活動就是一次很好的鍛煉和學習的機會,尤其對于我們這些年輕教師來說,彌足珍貴。在今后的教學中,我將會除了不斷向老教師學習,還會盡量多看書,多思考,努力做得更好!
