We are getting ready for the Spring Festival是外研版新標準英語教材七年級上學期第十模塊第一單元(Module10 Unit1) 的教學內(nèi)容,本模塊以“節(jié)日”為話題,引導學生通過使用現(xiàn)在進行時,對該話題展開一系列聽、說、讀、寫方面的語言實踐活動。通過聽、讀有關(guān)春節(jié)內(nèi)容的對話和短文,使學生能夠談論或?qū)懗鰧υ摴?jié)日的介紹,并鼓勵
2、學生了解英語國家中重要的節(jié)日及其主要慶祝方式?! ∽鳛楸締卧钠鹗颊n,是一節(jié)聽說課(listening and speaking),主要通過Lingling和Tony的談話,學習詢問What are the boys doing? 及其答語They are learning a dragon dance. 本節(jié)課主要要求學生掌握有關(guān)為節(jié)日做準備的動詞短語,通過討論節(jié)日的慶祝方式,學習用be +v.-ing 結(jié)構(gòu)表達自己正在做的事情。其中課文中的功能句型為What are/is …doing?及其答語:They are/He/She is … .詢問“某個人正在做什么”是一個非常生活化的主題,也
3、是一個能夠較好調(diào)動學生個人參與的話題。
春節(jié)是每個中國學生都很熟悉的節(jié)日,因此,本模塊的話題與學生的實際生活經(jīng)歷一致,有利于學習的開展,也因此具有良好的圖式基礎。對于初中一年級的學生來說,已有一定的英語基礎,對英語學習有著濃厚的興趣,渴望通過學習獲得更多的知識,以豐富自己的交際內(nèi)容,提高交際能力。Module 9學生已經(jīng)學了現(xiàn)在進行時的基本形式,此模塊是對現(xiàn)在進行時的鞏固。初一的學生活潑愛動,接受能力強,因此較多設計了能夠激發(fā)他們學習興趣的活動。
