What I would suggest is ____________(put off)the meeting.,Swimming,serving,to put off,二、動詞-ing與to do做賓語時的若干區(qū)別: 1. 有的動詞后只能跟不定式做賓語,如:agree, ask, aim, arrange, choose decide, fail, hope, learn, long, manage, plan, prepare, pretend, refuse等。 有的動詞后只能接動詞-ing做賓語,如: admit, consider, enjoy, finish, keep, imagine, mind, practice, suggest, give up, put off, allow 等。,,2. 在下列動詞后,兩者都可以接,但意義有所不同。 1)need, require, want后接動詞-ing 形式表示被動意義,也可接不定式,但要用被動形式。 Your handwriting needs/requires improving/to be improved. 2) hate, love, like接不定式表示特定的,具體的,一次性的,將發(fā)生的動作。接動詞-ing 表示習慣,經(jīng)常性的,一般的行為。 I like ________ (讀書),but I hate ________ (寫文章)。 I like _________________ (逛商店)now。,reading,writing,to go shopping,3)在下列情況下,一般用不定式。 A. hate, love, like前有would, should時。 I would like to have a cup of coffee.,4), forget / remember / regret to do 表示現(xiàn)在,未來或未做的動作;forget / remember / regret doing 表示動作已經(jīng)發(fā)生。 A.
