(1) Learn some useful words and expressions: concert, go on, training, lend, tape, price, ad, pay (2) Learn more words about musical instruments: violin, drum 2. Learn about exclamation: (1) How exciting! (2) And it sounds beautiful! (3) Oh, wonderful! (4) That’s too bad! 3. Talk about concert and musical instruments: (1) —Who is going to sing at the concert? —Celine Dion. (2) —Where is she going to give the concert? —At the Music Hall. (3) —What time is it going to start? —At 7:30 p.m. (4) What musical instruments do you know? (5) What musical instruments can you play? (6) What other musical instruments are you going to learn? 4. Enjoy music and musical instruments. Ⅱ. Teaching aids 教具 錄音機(jī)/音樂磁帶/小黑板/課件/掛圖/幻燈片 Ⅲ. Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教學(xué)方案 1. (請學(xué)生將上次調(diào)查結(jié)果匯報(bào)給全班同學(xué),每人匯報(bào)一名教師的興趣和愛好。) S1: Our head teacher used to stay at home, but now he often climbs mountains. Because he thinks climbing mountains is good for his health. S2: Our Chinese teacher used to … S3: Our maths teacher … S4: Our English teacher … S5: Our physics teacher … T: Most of us like going to the movie or listening to the music in their spare time. Because they can make us relax after daily work. Let’s see some parts of a movie and guess what is its name. 2. (師生對話,導(dǎo)入新課。) (教師展示五個(gè)有關(guān)Titanic電影的多媒體課件:片頭音樂MTV;電影開始場景;撞擊冰山場景;沉船場景;甲板上小提琴手的畫面。) T: Are you feeling sad? Ss: Yes, we are. T: Have you seen the film, S1? S1: Yes, I have. T: Who knows the name of the film? S2: Titanic. T: Do you like the music and the English song in it? Ss: Yes, we do. (教師播放My Heart Will Go On這首英語歌曲。) T: Do you like it? Ss: Yes, we do T: Please tell me its name, S3. S3: My Heart Will Go On. T: Can you sing this song? (再放Titanic的主題曲My Heart Will Go On, 鼓勵(lì)全班同學(xué)一起唱。) T: Do you know who sings the song? S4: I know. Her name is Celine Dion. T: Yes. And she is my favorite singer. (板書) My Heart Will Go On Celine Dion singer It sounds beautiful! T: Who has some tapes of her songs? (教師手舉磁帶讓學(xué)生理解tape的含義。) Ss: I have. T: Can you lend some to me?(加上手勢) It means May I borrow some from you? (板書) taxe lend … to … borrow … from … T: Boys and girls, I have good news to tell you. Celine Dion is going to give a concert. Would you like to go to the concert? (板書) concert at the concert give the concert Ss: Yes, we’d like to. T: OK. When and where is she going to give the concert? Let’s listen to the tape and you will know the answer. (由此導(dǎo)入1a。) Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈現(xiàn)(時(shí)間:7分鐘) 1. (設(shè)置聽力環(huán)節(jié),播放1a錄音,讓學(xué)生聽后回答小黑板上的問題。) (1)Who is going to sing at the concert? (2)Where is she going to give the concert? (核對答案。) (再次播放1a錄音,讓學(xué)生聽后找出生詞,并回答小黑板上的3個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)性問題。) (1)What time is it going to start? (2)What is Sally going to do this Sunday evening? (3)Is Jack going to the concert? Why? (核對答案。) (學(xué)生找出生詞,教師板書。) training 2. (讓學(xué)生自己朗讀1a對話,找出感嘆句并板書。) (1) How exciting! (2) And it sounds beautiful! (3) Oh, wonderful! (4) That’s too bad! (讓學(xué)生朗讀,體會感嘆句的語氣與情感。) Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 鞏固(時(shí)間:10分鐘) 1. (教師播放1a錄音,男女生分角色跟讀。注意語音語調(diào)。) T: Please listen to the tape. Boys read after Jack and girls read after Sally. 2. (學(xué)生兩人一組,表演對話。) 3. (以I’m going to the concert this Sunday evening為題,讓學(xué)生自編一組對話,可參照小黑板上的提示詞。對話中還要包含感嘆句。) Singer Place Time Faye Wong at the Music Hall at 7:00 p.m. Example: A: What are you going to do this Sunday evening? B: I’m going to a concert. A: How exciting! Who is going to sing at the concert? B: Faye Wong. Do you know Eyes On Me? A: Yes. Is that her song? B: Right. And it sounds great! A: Where is she going to give the concert? B: At the Music Hall. A: Oh, wonderful! What time is it going to start? B: At 7:00 p.m. Why not go with me? A: I’d like to, but I am going to see my grandparents this Sunday evening. B: That’s too bad! 6. (讓學(xué)生根據(jù)1b中的海報(bào),編一個(gè)類似的對話。完成1b。) (請2—3組同學(xué)表演。) Step 4 Practice 第四步 練習(xí)(時(shí)間:12分鐘) 1. (先讓學(xué)生根據(jù)樂器所發(fā)出的聲音判斷是什么樂器,然后教師出示該樂器的掛圖并學(xué)單詞。) T: Is it the sound of a piano? S1: No, it isn’t. I think it’s the sound of a violin. (接著教師出示小提琴的掛圖) T: What’s this? Is this a violin? Ss: Yes, it is. (板書) violin (教師用同樣的方式教授單詞drum。) T: Violins, pianos, guitars and drums are musical instruments. Which kind of musical instrument are you interested in? Please tell us. OK, S2. S2: I’m interested in the piano. It sounds nice. T: Can you play the piano? S2: Yes, of course. I began to play the piano when I was six years old. T: Oh, what a clever girl! Can anyone else play the musical instruments? Oh, S3. S3: I can’t play the piano, but I can play the guitar. T: Who taught you to play it? S3: Nobody. I taught myself. T: Really? How clever! Thank you. Who can play the drums? Nobody? S4, are you going to learn the drums? S4: No, I don’t like them. T: Which kind of musical instruments are you going to learn? S4: I’m going to learn the violin. T: Why? S4: Because it sounds great. T: Good. Thank you. 2. (讓學(xué)生聽2a錄音,完成2a。) T: Look, listen and number the pictures. (核對答案。) 3. (兩人一組回答2b中的問題,并編成對話。完成2b。) (找2-3組表演對話。) Example: S5: What musical instruments do you know? S6: The piano, the violin, the guitar and the drums. S5: Which is your favorite? Why? S6: The piano.
