Memorize the words by reading and using them. Learn the use of them and try to spell the words in this unit. Students try to learn how to read and remember the words and phrases , and how to learn individually and collectively. Step I Learn to read the words on Pages103-104 1. Have students read the words by themselves. 2. If they can’t, have students listen to tapes and then read in groups. Make sure most students can read the words correctly. (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:聽(tīng)說(shuō)領(lǐng)先,利用音標(biāo)讀單詞是一種能力,8年級(jí)學(xué)生已初步具有這種拼讀單詞的能力。學(xué)生試讀,教師正音。最后讓學(xué)生跟錄音讀。大多數(shù)學(xué)生可以熟悉單詞的讀音,正確試讀出單詞。盡量培養(yǎng)學(xué)生不用音標(biāo)也能讀單詞的能力。) Step II Learn to remember the words on Pages 103-104 1. Have students check if they remember all the words by working in pairs and check each other. 2. If they can’t, they can open the books and read them again. Then dictate them in the exercise books by themselves. It also can do simple jobs like huge arms. It can look for people under buildings after an earthquake. It won’t only be in fiction movies.
