2019-2020年外研版高中英語必修1《Module 5 A Lesson in a Lab》word教案 教學 內(nèi)容 Book 1 Module 5 A lesson in a lab Period 2 Reading and Vocabulary 授課 時間 45 分鐘 教材 分析 本課時教的是高一上學期使用的必修1 第5 模塊A lesson in a lab 中Reading and Vocabulary 部分的內(nèi)容, 是本模塊的第2 課時。 本部分將繼續(xù)引入與本模塊主題相關的詞匯,并通過兩個練習(Passage A 和 Passage B)使學生熟悉這些詞匯,同時這些練習也為接下來的閱讀活動作鋪墊,介紹了金屬氧化反應,并列出了顯示部分活動性能的表格。圍繞課文,設計了六個與課文內(nèi)容和詞匯有關的練習 。 通過這些學習,學生可以熟悉課文內(nèi)容和學會使用有關詞匯。 教學 目標 題材 目標 本課時簡單介紹了金屬氧化反應并列出了顯示金屬活動性能的表格。使學生了解和學會使用科技,實驗有關的詞匯和知識。培養(yǎng)學生用英語思考和表達的基本技能 , 增加語言運用的真實感,使學生體驗到語言的工具性使用。 語 言 知 識 目 標 Teaching Points ( 教學重點) 1.Encourage the students to talk about science as well as science subject . 2.Help the students make sense of the two passages 3.Help the students to improve their reading ability Difficult Points (教學難點) 1.Lead the students to talk in class actively 2.Deal with some difficult language points Teaching methodology and strategies (教學方法與策略) 1.Learner----centered Approach 2.Task ----based Learning Teaching aids and materials (教學手段) A multi-media computer , textbooks and students page ,some experiment equipment Important words and expressions ( 重點掌握的詞匯和表達) Exist expand electricity Contract difference equipment Metal heat burn React form substance Add…to at the bottom at the top Keep…out of make sure find out Put in order think of react with 語言 技能 目標 能夠聽懂讀課文,識別本模塊中的生詞和詞語并能理解其所在句子的含義,能運用所學的詞匯和句子正確的表達實驗報告。 情感 目標 在對課文的討論及實驗展示中培養(yǎng)學生對科學的熱愛和實事求是的科學態(tài)度,并在活動中發(fā)展學生的合作精神。 學習 策略 在閱讀中根據(jù)課文提出的問題.通過瀏覽、精讀的練習提高學生的閱讀技能以及信息推理、判斷能力,通過演示、講解實驗來發(fā)展學生實際語言運用能力。 文化 意識 了解和學會使用與科技,實驗有關的詞匯和知識,培養(yǎng)科學的認識和態(tài)度。 教學 策略 本課時主要以閱讀教學為主線,以任務型教學模式培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀理解策略,主要分為兩類活動:一類活動的任務是針對性地訓練閱讀技巧,這些技巧包括預測所讀內(nèi)容,抓住主題大意,抓住特定細節(jié),根據(jù)上下文猜詞義,推斷隱含意義識別語段過程等。另一類 活動的任務是表達與展示,小組活動并由小組代表講解文中所給的實驗,在展示中檢驗和指導學生自主學習能力和語言應用的實際操作能力。同時針對學生閱讀理解障礙,在教學中進行知識的輸入、技能的培養(yǎng)和文化意識的滲透,以及良好學習策略的指導。 教學過程 Step1 Organization for class Step2 Teaching of the new lesson Pre- Task About 10’ Get to know a number of vocabulary concerning science and technology as well as experiment Activity1 1 put the student into groups of have a discussion about describing a recent scientific experiment in some limited time 2 When time is up, ask two representatives from each group one is to give a report and the other is to write down as many words on the blackboard as they have recited on page 41 to page 46 Substance Equipment Others Metals Potassium Sodium Calcium Magnesium Zinc Copper aluminum Balance Crucible Tongs tube Stage Conclusion N Aim Reaction Reacts Rust Boil Steam Float Dissolve form 3 Ask students to check these answers and together with them complete the table below 設計目的:檢查詞匯記憶做好閱讀的導入工作即激活,通過共同合作 填表格的方式 激活學生相關的背景知識,通過合作學習,培養(yǎng)合作精神和激發(fā)學生的學習興趣。 Activity2 Word- study 1 Review the words listed on the table and get to know more usages about these new words by using CD-ROM 設計說明;詞匯學習把相關的內(nèi)容聯(lián)系在一起,方便學生記憶,同時掃除新課中可能的障礙并使學生自然進入主題。 While- Task 20’ Read passage A to get the students to have a deeper understanding of the passage . Teach them how to describe an easy physical or chemical experiment in English Activity1 Lead-in 1 Ask students to read the offered words in Activity 1 by themselves , trying to work out the correct order of these Words describing the stages of an experiment according to what they have reported 2 show the correct answer on the screen 設計目的:充分利用其他學科的知識作為背景,加深語言運用的真實感引起學生閱讀興趣。 Activity2 Scanning 1. Ask students to read the passage A quickly and entitle it individually according to Activity 2 2. Compare their title with group members and give the reasons 3. Representative of each group report their titles and reasons to the whole class 4. Show the correct answer on the screen 設計目的:檢測和指導學生對文章的概括,提高學生分析文章脈絡,理解文章,主題的能力 Activity 3 Colorful reading Ask student to do activity 3 1. Have the student read the questions in activity 3 on page 44quicly and try to understand them. 2. Ask students to read the passage together 3. Get the students to study the table on page 44 carefully and silent by themselves 4. compare their answers with their group members 5. call back the answers on the screen 6. show correct answers on the screen Extension 1. Ask the students to read the passage again, and put the following metals in the right order according to passage A 1) zinc 2) sodium 3)cooper 4) magnesium 5) potassium 6) aluminum 7)calcium 2. Show the correct answers on the screen The right order:---5—2---7----4---6---1---3 設計目的:讓學生閱讀課文,通過練習的設置查找信息用問題和排序來檢驗。這是訓練學生閱讀技能,查讀的一種方式。可以改善學生在閱讀理解是對細節(jié)的掌握情況,提高閱讀速度。 Activity4 Camper- hension Ask student to do Activity 4 1. Have students look at the table at the bottom of page 45 2. Ask them to watch CD-ROM show and find out the information they read 3. Put the students into the group of three to exchange and check their answers 4. Representative report their answers to the whole class 5. Show the correct answers on the screen 設計目的:對passge B 內(nèi)容學習做個小概要,在訓練學生聽力的同時激活相關的背景知識。多媒體CD-RM 的使用可激發(fā)學生的參與熱情,拓展思維,表格的設計,展示,更增加生動形象 Activity5 Conclusion Ask the student to do Activity5 1.Ask the students to observe the given table, especially the test tubs carefully 2.Show the following on the screen (1)what is there on the surface of the water in the text tubes? (2)What is the use of the oil? (3)What is the use of the cotton wool in the test tubes? (4)Why are the nails in the text tube with ordinary water rusty? 3.Ask them to answer in groups and call back the answers 4.Show the correct answers on the screen 5.Guide the students to finish off Activity---5 on Page 46 設計目的:學生更好的了解了主題通過對這三個實驗中的細節(jié)的重視,產(chǎn)生嚴謹?shù)目茖W態(tài)度和對科學的熱愛。 Post task 13’ This is the output of the task. Students are required to have a further discussion and write a similar passage about a simple scientific experiment Activity1 Discus- sion Discussion : 1 What did you know about describing a scientific experiment ? 2 What do the five words refer to ? aim ; apparatus ; method ;result ;conclusion 3 What is the correct order to describe the stages of a scientific experiment ? Then divide the students into 3 group to present an experiment according to the passage B , meanwhile give out some relative equipment Group A --- Iron in dry air ; Group B --- Iron in air –free water ; Group C – Iron in ordinary water. Ask student to communicate with their group members, share the information, organize their words and give a presentation to retell the passage their own words. 設計目的: 在以上語言輸出的理解活動的基礎上,這個環(huán)節(jié)強調(diào)語言的輸出。讓學生在討論,問答,相互論證中描述一次簡單的實驗過程, 讓學生鍛煉自己口語表達能力,并學會與他人合作,培養(yǎng)學生自主和探究的精神,體現(xiàn)在學中用,在用中學,學以致用的思想。 Activity2 Show time Ask students to give a presentation on one simple experiment. Call two representatives from each group, one is to demonstrate and the other is to describe how the first perform the experiment 設計目的: 這個環(huán)節(jié)是給學生一次展示自我的舞臺, 也培養(yǎng)學生口語表達能力.同時各組學生給presenters 的評分以及教師的評價,讓學生在活動中體會成功, 幫助學生獲得自信和他人認可。 Home- Work 2’ Write a short passage about describing a simple recent physical or chemical experiment and try to express in details . (在寫作前 讓學生閱讀 Task ----Preparing a report on a simple scientific experiment 參照1 2 3 的步驟 來列提綱 , 要點, 要求學生用本課所學的一些表達方式 ) 設計目的: 布置任務, 讓學生利用本課所學到的知識, 寫出最近一次物理或化學實驗報告, 達到讀寫結合, 學以致用的目的。 用筆頭練習的方式, 檢驗學生的學習效果輔之以寫作要求布置,方法指導,提高學生的書面表達能力。- 配套講稿:
