Sentences: Beijing is the capital of China. c. Task aim: 1. Go on learning the position words, Learn about China and America from this. 2. Introduce some cities position and choose some cities to practice. Learning properties: map ,tape recorder ,pictures Design idea: Learn about some simple English expression. And let students learn a little about America in order to increase interesting and foster the students ‘consciousness of English. Procedures 　 Step Ⅰ Warming Up 1. Singing a song together. 2. Choose your favorite country and describe it ( position capital nice city) 3. Teacher shows the picture of Beijing, Sanya, Washington, and San Francisco on TV. Step Ⅱ Presentation Q: Do you like Beijing? And look at it S: Describe it (position…) Q: There is a famous city in China, What is it / It’s very hot. S: Sanya and describe it. And use the same way to show Washington (to teach north, south, east, and west) We can use a map to learn four words. Step Ⅲ Consolidate Listen and match. Then point and say (consolidate to remember the four position words) Finish the part 1on Activity book. Give them 2’ to remember the new words and the meaning of it .Then finish the part 1 on Activity book. Check the answer in groups Point ,ask and answer Show some pictures on TV.( on the blackboard) Step Ⅳ Practice A: Where is New York? B: It’s in the east. ( Look at pictures and describe the position of it ) Show a map of China and deal with the part 3 on activity book. Step Ⅴ Game Do you have a friend? If you have, please draw her / his house .And tell us where is his / her house? (Practice “I live in Beijing. My friend lives in …) StepⅥ Summary 1. It’s in the….”: Teacher says, “ Hello, boys and girls. I am a teacher. I e from Xiamen. Where are you from?” to ask some students to answer “ I’m from Xiamen.” Teacher then say, “ Yes. Most of us are from Xiamen. Look at the map of Xiamen. Where is…?” to let students answer “ It’s in the east/ west/ south/ north.” ( Ⅲ). Presentation: A. Give the task: In last period, I have introduced Daming’s project to you. And in this period, I’m also going to introduce four projects to you. They are Lingling’s, Sam’s, Amy’s and Daming’s. B. Teacher says, “ Look at the pictures, listen to the tape and answer the questions of “ How many projects are there? C. Teaching notes: NSE B4, M7, U 2教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)思路 三亞市第九小學(xué) 羅更覺(jué) 一、 教材分析： 本堂課使用的教材是由外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究出版社出版的New Standard English (供三年級(jí)起始用)第四冊(cè)M7,U2 Beijing is the capital of China. 和由中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)社主辦的21世紀(jì)少年英文報(bào)04—05學(xué)年第27期，總第75期的第4版奇妙世界(Magic World) 的Ella游世界—— Flying to Brazil 飛向巴西。 B4,M7,U2的主要語(yǔ)言功能是陳述地理知識(shí)，初步了解三個(gè)城市：北京，三亞，哥倫比亞特區(qū)華盛頓和舊金山以及它們的所在位置。本單元的主要語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)是：Beijing is the capital of China. Washington D.C. is the capital of America. Sanya/ San Francisco is a famous city. It’s in the east/ west/ south/ north.本單元的運(yùn)用任務(wù)是了解與美國(guó)有很多相似的國(guó)家——巴西，和以小組為單位介紹本組的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，并與老師，同學(xué)們進(jìn)行挑戰(zhàn)，評(píng)出最佳代表隊(duì)，參加即將到來(lái)的“六一”節(jié)文藝匯演。 二、 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)意圖： 我校地處廈門(mén)東部，是廈門(mén)島內(nèi)的一個(gè)農(nóng)村小學(xué)，學(xué)校各方面的硬件設(shè)施較不完善，可利用的課程資源極為有限；生源較差，大部分是農(nóng)民或是漁民的子女，學(xué)生手頭上的學(xué)習(xí)資料較缺乏。因此，21世紀(jì)少年英文報(bào)對(duì)他們來(lái)說(shuō)真可謂是“雪中送炭”。所以，我從我校的客觀實(shí)際出發(fā)，以興趣為支點(diǎn)，充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，激發(fā)他們的求知欲，有機(jī)地結(jié)合主教材和21世紀(jì)少年英文報(bào)，充分地利用課程資源。 本堂課是B4, M7的第二課時(shí)。教學(xué)目標(biāo)是在第一課時(shí)的基礎(chǔ)上，繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)和了解美國(guó)的地理知識(shí)以及拓展學(xué)習(xí)北京，三亞和其他城市，國(guó)家的相關(guān)知識(shí)，談?wù)摳鱾€(gè)小組的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)并與其他小組進(jìn)行挑戰(zhàn)。教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是復(fù)習(xí)、鞏固句型 “Where is …? It’s in the ….” 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)是談?wù)摳髯孕〗M的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)并聽(tīng)懂其他組的介紹以及向介紹的同學(xué)提出問(wèn)題。因此，我是這樣設(shè)計(jì)的：課前唱1首歌曲，既復(fù)習(xí)了所學(xué)知識(shí)，又營(yíng)造了良好的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，接著師生問(wèn)候，體現(xiàn)和諧、平等的師生關(guān)系，再由歌曲引出廈門(mén)，展示廈門(mén)地圖復(fù)習(xí)方位詞：east, west ,south, north。運(yùn)用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法，提出本堂課的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)——本堂課老師將向同學(xué)們介紹四個(gè)綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，并介紹自己關(guān)于巴西的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，以及請(qǐng)各小組同學(xué)介紹自己本組的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，與其他組進(jìn)行挑戰(zhàn)，評(píng)出最佳小組，代表本班參加“六一”節(jié)節(jié)目匯演。接著學(xué)習(xí)M7,U2。課文的教學(xué)以“聽(tīng)”為主（共4遍），引導(dǎo)“說(shuō)”，循序漸進(jìn)，逐步擴(kuò)展，層層深入，激發(fā)學(xué)生的求知欲，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力，讓學(xué)生的思維在聽(tīng)說(shuō)訓(xùn)練中得到發(fā)展，成就感得到滿足，主體地位得到體現(xiàn)。然后充分并合理地利用教學(xué)資源——21世紀(jì)少年英文報(bào)，學(xué)習(xí)，了解與美國(guó)有很多相似之處的國(guó)家，巴西，使本堂課的學(xué)習(xí)由課內(nèi)拓展到課外，使課外鞏固課內(nèi)，既擴(kuò)大了學(xué)生的知識(shí)面，又鞏固了所學(xué)知識(shí)。接著再讓各個(gè)小組介紹自己本組的綜合實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，并能流利地回答其他組同學(xué)的提問(wèn)，評(píng)出最佳組，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力。最后，分層次地布置作業(yè)，讓學(xué)生利用課余時(shí)間，合理地利用學(xué)習(xí)資源——21世紀(jì)少年英文報(bào)，閱讀，學(xué)習(xí)和摘抄自己喜歡的城市或國(guó)家。
