Aids Cards Tape Teaching Process Teacher’s Activity I.Warming up and Revision 1.Greetings. 2.Have a race:(The fastest is the winner.) T:Acorrding to the text, I’m going to say one word from an instruction in the book. You have to listen carefully and say the plete instruction. Example: T:Wash. T:Cut. II.Leading-in Show Ss some questions Such as Is the pen long or short? Is the blackboard dirty or clean? Encourage Ss to describe the objects with adj.words III.Listening & Reading Activities 1.Play the tape. 2.Show new words:place circle build solve hope . 3.Present the key sentences: What will we see there ?and How will we get there? 4.Play the tape.(twice) IV.Further Development 1. Read the dialogue and talk about the objects in classroom in pairs. 2. Listen and say . V.Homework 1. Write the new words . 2. Recite the text Students’ Activity 1Say‘Hello’to teacher . S1:Wash the potatoes! S2:Cut the potatoes! S: Stand up. T: Good morning, everyone. S; Good morning, Miss Yu. Step2: First, review what we have learned. Sing the song “I can sing a rainbow”. “Red and yellow and pink and green . Purple and orange and blue . I can sing a rainbow , sing a rainbow , sing a rainbow ,too.” Step3: Begin today’s content. First, teach the new word “door”, T point to the door, then ask students “What’s this?” Students answer :“door”, then guide the word “door”. Second , show the picture of “door”, I read this word for three times ,then ask students to read it one by one.Then choose some students to read. Third , put the pictures on the wall. . . . . . . “window”, “ceiling”, “floor”, “desk”, “chair”. Do the same as before. In all, six new words are over. Step4: When the six words all show on the blackboard, then I will guide students read follow me for three times for every words . Next ,I will choose some students to answer the words which I point to . Third I will choose some good students to be little teacher to read in front of the blackboard. Step5: Read After they finish reading .I Will show the word cards to ask students “How to read?” When they answer right ,I will put it on the blackboard . Step6: Play a game . Mix the cards position. Ask students to put the small picture on the words side . Step7: Go on playing a game. Carry the pictures which on the blackboard . Then ask students “Which is missing ?”Then ask students say the missing picture’s content. Step8: Look and read .(guess) Show the big pictures .Say the numbers , let students find the things .If they say right ,then show the word .If they say wrong ,going on guessing .After they finish all the guessing ,then read them together. Step9: Sing a song , and ask them to clap their hands . (1 2 3 4 5 . . . . . .Stand up) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.Stand up !Sit down. Point to the ceiling .Point to the floor. Step10: Homework. Review the six words . Step11: T:Class is over. S:Stand up . T:Goodbye,everyone.
