Hyatt VISUAL GUIDELINES636.1 Brand Photography/OverviewPHOTOGRAPHIC TONEBold,Dynamic,Aspirational&Contemporary Beautiful photography is a very important part of Grand Hyatt advertising and collateral. It should always be elegant, simple, true to the Hyatt brand, and should always strive to show authentic and local experiences at a Grand Hyatt.Photos should feel modern, fresh and vibrant. All photography should visually communicate the originality and individual qualities of the hotel.Photography should also illustrate the variety of services, products and facilities highlighted on the property.Images, both macro and detailed, should focus on the product architecture, exterior and interior,as well as emphasize the locations unique selling points(i.e.,Acapulco is famous for its seafood cuisine and nightlife). The composition of the photos should always create a dynamic rectangle on the page.Do not use other shapes, vignette the edges or use photos without backgrounds(silhouette). When people are shown in photographs, make sure they appear natural and aspirational, and they should never look stiff or fake. The viewer should feel like they can relate to them and their inclusion must always enhance the composition rather than detract from it.Anticipate layout options when setting up each shot and if applicable, shoot subject matter as a horizontal and a vertical images.Take wide shots, medium shots,as well as close-ups to ensure you have a good variety to use for your marketing materials.Grand Hyatt Brand Experience Guide Communicating Grand Hyatt VISUAL GUIDELINES646.2 Brand
