Step 2. 新課內(nèi)容展示(用時15分鐘)
1. 請兩個孩子到講臺上T:How old are you?
S1: I’m 11years old. T: You are young. (板書young)
S2: I’m 12 years old. T: You are young, too.
T: Who is younger? S1: I’m younger(板書younger)
T: Who is older? S2: I’m older.(板書old_older)
T: Yes, S1 is younger than S2. S2 is older than S1.
T: Say I’m tall.(做手勢) S1: I’m tall. S2: I’m tall,too (板書tall)

老師再拿兩把長短不一的直尺教會longer, shorter,than.

1. 請兩個胖瘦不一樣的孩子到講臺上T:Who is thin? S: A is thin.
T:Who is heavy? S:B is heavy
T: Yes, A is thin. B is heavy.(板書 thin, heavy)
2.選兩個個子較瘦的孩子:T: They are thin. Who is thinner? S:A is thinner.
T: 板書thinner,提醒孩子們觀察thinner的寫法。再用相同的方法教heavier.
3選兩個大小不一樣的書包進行比較,引出big, small.
T : Which is the bigger schoolbag? What color is it?
Ss: The yellow schoolbag is bigger.(板書big _ bigger)
T: Which is the smaller one? What color is it?
S: The red one. (板書small_ smaller)
4.做一個強壯的手勢教strong,抽兩個孩子做相同的手勢比較,教stronger.
